Dating back to the mid 18th Century the Storkyrkobadet (meaning The Great Church Baths) is true hidden secret like no other on Gamla Stan. Here you’ll find in the cellar a hidden bathhouse that is like no other. Featuring a swimming pool which was built in the mid 1930’s as well as small individual baths which are a reminder of what it was once like to rely on facilities like this prior to indoor plumbing.
